Moments

I remember, as she lied down there next to me, I was looking at her, thinking how peaceful and innocent she looked. Everything about her is just perfect, her soft skin, her red cheeks, her angelic closed eyes and even her tender touch. There's not a thing that I'd change about her.

She's everything I wished for. I'll always be there, capturing every moment of our life together, protecting her from the unknown. I give her my name, my heart and my all. Nothing on Earth would matter to me more than her. She's all I've got, and I'm all she has.Like a gift she was sent to me. She made a whole new person out of me, she made me a father! Who could have thought that a loser like me who doesn't even know how to make breakfast for himself would be a "Daddy"?!

I remember, that I was blown away by her pure beauty. She opened her small blue eyes, looked around, and just when our eyes met, she smiled. God! I'm in love. Her smile makes me dizzy and her eyes weren't just any blue eyes, they had that very deep blue color, these kind of eyes that wash all your troubles away.

I remembered, as I was waiting for my daughter to come out to walk her down the aisle. Yes, my baby angel is getting married today, in fact, now! I stood there remembering all of our times together. Her first word, her first day at school, her milk teeth falling one following another, her jealousy of her baby brother, our arguments about what to wear for her sweet 16, her graduation from college, and the most beautiful thing about her, her always-smiley face. She came out, more charming than ever, in a white silky dress that fits the harmony between her deep blue colored eyes & graceful smile. Her eyes were shining, she's happy like I've never seen her. I walked her to her groom, who looked amazed when he saw her. I gave him her hand as I said "She's priceless. Take good care of her."

I wiped away a tear as I captured one more picture of our happy moments together, with my baby angel.
